How To: Get Rid of Grammarly Extension

Installed it, uninstalled it and it was still showing up on my chrome browser.

Problem: Grammarly still shows up in chrome even after uninstalling

 

Solution (from source below): 

  1. Go to “Settings” in Chrome
  2. Select “Extensions”
  3. Find the computer paralyzing Grammarly “app” in the list
  4. Click on “Disable” (you MUST disable before you delete!)
  5. Now click on the little garbage can and send it home.
  6. Now close and re-open Chrome
